Manicure

A manicure is a treatment for the fingernails and hands. It consists of filing and shaping of nails, pushing back cuticle and clipping if need be, then massage of the hand and a polish colour of your choice is applied to the nails. 

Gel manicure

A  gel manicure involves a gel polish product that is applied to the fingernails, then set and hardened under a LED light. Application involves up to three coats of gel, and each coat needs to be set or cured under the light. While gel manicures look just like your regular mani, the added benefits are that they last longer and feel stronger. A gel manicure usually last up to 4weeks before you need to come back into the salon to get redone.

Nail Art

Some manicures include nail art designs. At Totally Polished most of our nail art is done free hands. We also sometimes use a stamping tool depending on the design you are after. Nail decals can also be used for nail art. Glitter is one of our popular types of nail art we do, it gives you the sparkle you crave.
